The World's Biggest Question- fashion a la mode

We are sitting here trying to answer some of the world's biggest questions. For example: what is life? Easy answer- life is what we are doing right now. However, there is one question we cannot seem to find the answer to.
What happens to socks? This may seem like a joke, but we are seriously asking this question. You can put 4 socks in the washing machine to find only 3 come out. (Apparently, there is a part of a washing machine called an agitator that socks can easily get lost in, but this is beside the point.) You pull out socks of your drawer, after pairing them, and you always seem to get just one. After a while, some people just give up and use these single socks to do things such as dusting the house, or making them into toys for their dogs. It has become a common thing to just wear mismatched socks- they are under our fabulous shoes so who cares...
But what if we want our socks to show? This winter it has become a common thing to see women wearing their trendy leather boots, with some high socks sticking out the top. These girls must never lose their socks.
(J. Crew)
Socks sticking out of boots, socks sticking out over the edges of Mary Janes and moccasins; there are socks popping up everywhere. There is a small solution to wearing this trend and not pulling out your hair trying to find two long socks of the same pair. Some boot companies have come out with boots with built in socks. These socks either clip in at the top, or are sewn throughout the boot.
(Hunter)
Hunter does a great job making boots that are easy to throw on in the morning before class without having to try and find socks at all. So maybe, for now, we can't answer for sure what happens to all of our designer Hanes socks, but we can breathe easily knowing that for some of us, the option to wear this trend is out there. And for those of you who have never lost socks, or have a sock fairy that matches all of your pairs perfectly, please share your secrets. How do you do it?

Over and out.
